For many of our clients, the question of Aftercare remains open right up until build completion even though there is a recognised obligation to support customers through the first two years after the plot has sold. This time, called the Developer’s Rectification Period lasts for 24 months from legal completion and requires the developer to respond to any legitimate build defects in a timely manner. Underestimating this obligation can cause reputational and financial damage to our clients.

It’s often the case that our clients aren’t geared up to provide this kind of support but still want to maintain an excellent relationship with their purchasers.
